I love to read; I’ve been a bookworm all my life. When we first moved to our new neighborhood, there was a flier inviting me to a “Girls Morning Out” to meet and get to know the neighborhood women. I was so excited! I went and met some wonderful women. A sign up sheet went around asking if anyone would be interested in starting a neighborhood book club, so of course I put my name down. Our first meeting was lots of awkward laughing and checking each others’ name tags, but now, a year and a half later, we’ve grown to be good friends. We read one book a month and meet to discuss it over dinner, and lots of wine!
